Island Explorer & Tours started its operations in June 2001 offering a complete range of inbound services as a Destination Management Company (DMC). We are, today, one of the youngest experts inthe Mauritian tourism sector, with a highlydedicated team of experienced andknowledgeable staff - some with over 25years experience in the field!
Destination Management
Island Explorer & Tours represents a number of international tour operators locally offering a personalised service, from hotel bookings and airport welcomes to transfers, accommodation, excursions and much more. We also assist in the organisation of meetings, incentives, conferences, weddings and events.
Corporate social responsibility
Island Explorer & Tours has a corporate social responsibility programme and makes it our mission to educate and support the community, promote sustainable development and work towards the preservation of the Island’s fauna and flora. One example of this commitment is our “green package” allowing visitors to contribute to the protection of the Mauritian environment through hands-on conservation work. We are also committed to working hand in hand with the community by supporting local schools and by improving the welfare of residents living in specific regions of the island. We actively encourage fair trade through our promotion of small businesses and planned training programmes.
